Everywhere you look today it appears that no one is safe from issues related to credit. From the small town folks who have needed or been forced to rely on credit, especially credit cards, just to make ends meet to the big town bank executives who overextended credit lines and to the Wall Street big shots who repackaged and repackaged debt into an investment vehicle causing the fallout in our economy, no one is safe in these times from credit issues. It is no longer just poor money management that is to blame for the credit crisis we see and is plaguing not just our country but now the world markets. Sure, a lot of these issues could have been avoided if we all had used better financial sense and not over extended ourselves, and financial responsibility and fiscal constraint are two of the key ingredients which will lead us as individuals out of this current mess. Of course, this is only true if we take the hard road and work our way out. I’m reminded of the old adage “If you continue to do what you have always done, you will continue to get what you have always gotten”. Not exactly perfect English, but the point is valid. Without doing something different we will never get different results. One of my favorite definitions of insanity goes like this “doing the same thing over and over again, then expecting different results”. Without some changes, nothing will change and we will all be back here again and again.
But, you know this already. That is why you are actively “doing” something. You are trying to find a solution to the issue you either see coming or to the issue you are now experiencing. Either way, no matter what your predicament, we will try to find info to fit your needs. Because, even the most valuable information in the world is useless without a way to apply it.
